At FDNA, we offer a range of programs designed to welcome players of all ages and skill levels, from kinder-aged children taking their first steps on court, right through to Walking Netball for adults looking for a fun and social way to stay active. This page is your go-to guide for all of our beginner-friendly options, including programs tailored to help you build confidence, fitness, and skills at your own pace. Net Set GO!

Woolworths NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It provides children from 5 to 10 years with a positive introduction to netball, incorporating skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches.

Delivered in a fun and safe environment, the weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure all participants have an enjoyable experience, while developing fundamental life skills.

Woolworths NETSetGo Program – Wednesday (Skills Sessions)

Term 1: Every Wednesday from February 4^th to April 1^st

Term 2: Every Wednesday from April 22^nd to June 24^th

Term 3: Every Wednesday from July 15^th to September 16^th

Term 4: Every Wednesday from October 7^th to December 16^th

Net Set GO! FREE Participation Pack

Every Woolworths NetSetGO participant will receive a participant pack. The pack includes:

Woolworths NetSetGO size 4 netball.
Woolworths NetSetGO T-shirt

Participants have the option to personalise their t-shirt. Woolworths NetSetGO participants will receive an email from the Woolworths NetSetGO online shop with instructions to redeem their participant pack. New 2 Netball

Aimed at participants who haven’t played netball previously and are between the ages of 8 and 14 years old. Those interested are encouraged to attend for a free trial prior to registering for the term. Sessions are skills based but will progress into match play. A good introduction to netball for those who haven’t played before but are interested in signing up for Spring Competition which will start in Term 4.

Kinder Squad

FDNA’s Kinder Program is a fun, play-based program for 3 and 4 year-olds. We focus on building confidence, coordination and early movement skills through imaginative games with netball themes and storylines. Our sessions are short, engaging and aligned to Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), with an emphasis on teamwork and social development.

Dates: Every Saturday from 18th July to 12th September
Location: Indoor Court 1 – Jubilee Park Stadium
Time: 9:15am-9:45am
Price: $100 per term, no VNA membership needed (includes a FREE participant shirt)

Dates: Every Monday from 13th July – 14th September
Location: Indoor Court 1 – Jubilee Park Stadium
Time: 4:15pm – 4:45pm
Price: $110 per term, no VNA membership needed (includes a FREE participant shirt)

Walking Netball

Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so anyone can play, regardless of age, ability, or fitness level. It’s a great way to stay active with minimal risk of injury, increase fitness, have fun, and meet new friends. For more information click here
