Frankston District Netball Association (FDNA) is proud to present its 2025–2028 Strategic Plan — a bold and forward-thinking blueprint that celebrates its proud past and lays the groundwork for a thriving future across netball and sport at Jubilee Park Stadium (JPS).
Developed in partnership with sports consultancy Life Sport Journey, the new Strategy outlines FDNA’s commitment to growing participation, deepening community connections, and delivering safe, inclusive, and future-focused sporting experiences for all.
Since its establishment in 1966, FDNA has been a pillar of sporting life in Frankston and surrounding areas. From grassroots to elite level, the Association has supported players, coaches, umpires, and clubs — shaping generations of athletes. This Strategic Plan builds on that legacy as FDNA steps confidently into its role as manager of Jubilee Park Stadium, on behalf of Frankston City Council, broadening its focus to embrace a multi-sport offering alongside its rich netball tradition.
“Our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan is a direct result of months of collaboration and consultation with the people who matter most — our members, stakeholders, sponsors, Frankston City Council, Netball Victoria, and our broader community,” said the FDNA Board President. “We have listened, we have planned strategically, and we now look to the future with a clear vision.”
Guided by Netball Victoria’s pillars — Play, Grow, Inspire, and Lead — FDNA’s Strategic Plan prioritises delivering accessible, enjoyable, and high-quality sporting experiences at the state-of-the-art Jubilee Park Stadium. It also reflects FDNA’s proud advocacy and leadership in bringing this facility to life — a vital milestone achieved after a decade of effort by the FDNA Board and staff.

Key elements of the Strategy include:
✅ Increasing opportunities for children, youth, and adults to participate in netball and other sports.
✅ Strengthening partnerships across the Frankston community.
✅ Investing in player, umpire, and coach development.
✅ Enhancing the safety, accessibility, and sustainability of Jubilee Park Stadium.
✅ Leading the way in inclusive and progressive sport delivery.
“We are immensely proud of this Strategy, which celebrates FDNA’s past while clearly mapping out the steps toward our future,” added FDNA’s General Manager. “Our focus is on creating a welcoming and vibrant sporting environment that will serve our community for years to come.”
FDNA invites all members, sponsors, partners, and community members to explore the full 2025–2028 Strategic Plan and join us in bringing this vision to life. Together, we can ensure that the sport we love — and the world-class stadium that supports it — continue to grow, inspire, and unite.
