Jubilee Park Stadium Update – Jun 2018

Further to the recent Frankston City Council announcement committing $7.1 million towards the Jubilee Park Stadium development, the FDNA board of management are excited to inform its members the following.

Jubilee Park has been identified as an ideal regional precinct to provide participation and high performance pathway opportunities. Recognised as the foundation sport, netball will remain the primary user of the facility that will be utilised by several sporting codes including cricket, basketball and football. Detailed plans are well progressed for an exceptional and expansive multi-purpose facility that will include:

  • 6 indoor courts, including a 1000 seat spectator show court
  • 150 person Function Room
  • Indoor, outdoor connectivity
  • Extensive Car Parking
  • Office and retail space
  • Indoor/Outdoor Café and Barbeque facilities
  • Indoor Cricket training facility
  • Equipment Storage
  • Amenities to support players and spectators both indoors and outdoors

Along with the Jubilee Park Group, FDNA will continue to work closely with Frankston City Council to deliver an exceptional facility for its members and the city of Frankston. An occasion to showcase the design plans, to which FDNA members will be invited, is currently being organised. Further information for this event will be provided over the coming weeks.
